I'ma Jerk!

So I was unaware that I was already up on this dance craze about a little over a year ago via a good friend of mine out in Glossangeles. Through her a band by the name of "The Push" friended me on myspace. They're songs were pretty dope back then, (new stuff i've heard isn't as good.)

But then I saw this

I thought.. "Wow that dance really evolved". It used to just be the simple knee jerk from side to side, and maybe a jump or a handclap.

but now there is this...

These PowerRangers kids are whats.. up can't even hate.. I'm actually glad to see what the youth is evolving into, I believe they also got a photospread in an upcoming complex mag (which is still my fav publication). It's not all about being ignorant and selling dope, there are more creative ways to brand yourself.

Also, there is a grip of "Jerking" songs coming out of cali right now. Speed up.

I let her get in my mind once.

And now she wanna live here rent free.

Bonita Applebum - Tribe Called Quest

This is the only rent that I ask for.

Nuthin But a Hero - Tabi Bonney

She wants in... Should I let her stay?

Flashback

I would only see this video on MuchMusic. Shame this dude didn't blow up.

Raw i'ma give it to ya.

This is how I feel after that last post.

Wu-Tang Lego: Da Mystery of Chessboxin' from davo on Vimeo.

Everybody has...

A post similar to this.. you know the one where they say, "sorry blog I've been neglecting you, no more will I do this."

Yea I haven't really been neglecting my blog.. This isn't a child, or a pet that I Have to feed and nuture. I do those things only because I choose too.

And right now I choose to Rant.

Lately on Twitter and FaceBook, I've been noticing a lot of people complaining about the most trivial of things. Whether it be direct or indirectly, examples of this may include, but are not limited to.. "ugh can't get to sleep, hate my life" ??!!?!?!!!! REALLY this is what your complaining about? The majority of this comes from people without jobs/lives the rest is from some who may have jobs and have to be up at reasonable times which is understanable to a certain point. But for those of you that are just "Up" at all times.. get out.. work out.. get a life. There is so much worse that could be happening than staying up late.
There have been countless times That all I wanted was sleep, but I had to stay up and gaurd people's lives and or work. (now I can already here some saying.. "But you made that choice to do the things that you did" thats absolutely right, I made those choices, and it doesn't give me the right to complain about anything, and I don't. You on the other hand made the choice to become a worthless slug, which is problably in a decent environment. There are millions of people that would love to just lay around all day, and have their biggest problem be "insomnia"

Get a Clue/Grip/Life.

Speaking of getting a life... there are some of you that I follow on twitter that only tweet about meaningless, trivial, mundane things.
We get it already, your having a shitty summer hanging out with your family/working/going to school.
Also, when you finally do, do something fun stop overhyping it to compensate for the other ultra lame things that you've done... It's starting to become sad.

I feel like I have to bite my tounge so much on twitter and facebook, sometimes I really wanna lash out at people and let them have it.
People don't know it, but I have one of the worst mean streaks in me, that I haven't shown to any of the "friends" that i've met within the past year.

This is mainly because I'm a nice person, but mostly because of the double standard that exists these days for guys like me on social networks.

Case and point, anyone and everyone can poke fun at me, for whatever reason, and I'm expected to take it, because I'm some strong tuff guy, and I like to joke alot. That's all good and well, I love a good laugh, but if your gonna step up to the plate you can't be scared to get hit by a pitch.

If this offended you in any way, shape, or form.
FUCK OFF!

What I miss most.

Real Hiphop. I know artist's like Wale, Cudi, CoolKids, PacDiv...ect. Are trying to bring it back, but it's not the same nor will it ever be.

Golden Era reigns supreme.

Imagine that.

Anna Hovet.

Is a Super dope designer from the Windy City by way of North Dakota.
Hopefully I'll be seeing some of her work on the lovely ladies of RVA soon.

I'm from the country, so I got to be funky.

My favorite Jam at the moment. Peep Game.

I'm pretty sure this came out a while ago, but I just recently heard it, on a 1st & 15th(pretty much) mixtape.

Fight for the Right to party

Very helpful hints for all you partygoers.

This video is a pretty hard watch for most of us these days, because the majority of people I know have major ADD, but its very helpful...VERY HELPFUL.

I kinda wanna remix this video to make it easier to watch.

$15 whore.lol

Patrice is speaking for about 95 percent of straight men.

Fact: Tough Crowd with colin quinn used to be my favorite TV show circa 03',04'

Sometimes I think I wouldn't have broken up with so many girls if they didn't talk so much. (or at least wanted to talk about the things that we were both interested in, instead of wanting to talk about what happened with that crazy chick at work)

Prolly gonna be really hard to find a woman that's down with talking about Life/Conspiracy/Golden era hiphop/Video Games/Comics/Comedy and Anime all in the same sitting.

Face.

Heard this outside my window a little bit ago and decided to throw it up. It's a classic, and a staple for hip hop heads.

"Even caramel sundae's is gettin touched."

Smells like camping.

Craig Robinson is a very funny man.

3peat

This is the worst one yet.. I can't put up anymore videos showing off the glorious nature of one half of my race.

(By the way, I post these video's so that hopefully my black friends/readers will get extremely uncomfortable and want to help to change the perception of the race.)

SwagTard???

This is great, I love everything in life. (sarcasm is a tool I use most often.)

This is embarassing to watch.

I hate everything.

My grandma would have never allowed this. Eff a switch, she would have beat me with a whole tree.

Really little dude??? I just wanted to do hoodrat stuff wiff my friends. He's probably already got a deal with BET in the works.

*this is where I need to step my photoshop game up and make a sign saying "BET... setting black folks back since way back when"*

N3rd stuffz.

Read and learn. My blog layout is always ftswindle so click on the image to view it fully.

ILL.

This is kids with money and too much time on their hands at their finest. I cant hate on this at ALL.

we used to do that stuff just with a lowered rim and in my backyard. Never a bomb ass pool like that.

DOPE

easily one of the illest pics that I've seen in a while.

Black Comedy.

Whatever happened to it??? There used to be so many great black comedians when I was growing up.

I used to CRACK UP! watching guys like Richard Pryor/ Redd Fox/ Sinbad/ Mark Curry/ Eddie Murphy/ Dave Chappelle (my hero)/ Tommy Davidson/ Jamie Fox/ Bill Bellamy... The List can go on.
Here's a few clips for my black readers to reminisce over, and my white friends to get put on to game.

He used to do a joke about some cats and Freddy Kruger, it would get me every time.

A lot of people didn't know that he wrote Bebe's kids. Dude was mad funny.

It don't get no better.

Uncle Elroy!

The King. (you can't understand half of what this genius ass negro says)

"I wanna talk about Fucking!"

My Hero

Man there are so many.. Now a days it's pretty much just Katt Williams. Don't get me wrong he's great, but he's like Lebron when he first got to the Cavs, he has no help.

Katt can't do it by himself gang.

I'm thinking that I'm smart enough to Dumb it down and do some "Urban Comedy". Whatchu think???

Ears Please.

This track is semi old (for the blog world)
but I listen to it every time I'm trying to get something done.

Just how I like it

Cause Just the other day I was wanting to hear some 80's new wave mixed with ultra catchy ignorant nigga ish.

This is surprisingly good.

.LOLZ.

Say it aint so....

I've geeked out to this before.

Can we have another missed connects party???

Just cause.

Fight Fight Fight

UFC to me as Boxing was to my Dad and Uncle's.

I cant get enough of it.
It's one of the few things that I dont mind sharing with bro's and douchebags alike.

Pretty much all MMA is wonderful, even though i'm more of a Renaissance type of guy that enjoys culture and art this stuff gets me going.

I feel like most conventional sports are lame and uninteresting these days.

Baseball is uber boring.. Basketball is my favorite sport to play, but I will only watch it during the playoff's and or college.
And Hockey is only fun in person or when a fight breaks out.
Football(both kinds) are the only exceptions these days.

So when MMA/UFC comes on, I will undoubtedly brave the bro elements of a Hooter's and or generic sports bar to watch it.

Guess I'll stay awhile.

I stay wanting to move away. These are the reasons that I don't. (Josh and pancake would have been in this if they hadn't of conviced me to stay, then moved away on me.. MISS YOU GUYS!)

The Two most awesome women in the city, hands down. Even though i'm much taller, I look up to them. They have a thriving business in a failing economy, and they are always down to help a friend or anyone in need.

Best Friends Day 8 "the ocho" pretty much what i'm stoked on the most for this whole summer.

They'll prolly call me out and say i'm lame for this, but who else are you gonna hangout with and watch youtubes til 6am??

Shanice and Ayesha. I know for a fact that they would both be really mad at me if I put up pics of them. But they are like two super cool little sister's to me. They keep me sane and humble somehow.

It's so chill just sitting up on your's/your friends rooftop and drinking. As much as I love to go out partying and being busy, you can't deny the subtle appeal of this.

slaughterama was on point. Drunk all day, laughing and throwing beers at kids on bikes. What more do you need?

Kelsey and Gumby are awesome. Nuff said.

Last but certainly not least is my Partner in crime. If it wasn't for Jay I would have moved away a long time ago. Got the full "rva" expierence walking around the fan drinking 40's of colt 45 with him last summer. We even have a secret handshake.

Those are just some of the reason. There's always the smell of lee's fried chicken or sauers vanilla while driving down broad. (which traffic is never that bad in this city compared to alot of others)
And dance parties when school is in, and house parties during the summertime.

I think i'll give it a year or two more. Then i'm most likely going to be on my way to Chicago.

Imagine This.

Round 2.

Recently in my life. (no ticket though just a warning and a chuckle about how fast I grew a beard from getting outta the military.)

This Screams summertime.

I really hope this was a real ad.

Finally!

I have been slipping this past weekend. Not because of the partying, but because my brain has been in a cloud the past few days. The rain/Lee's Fried Chicken/being by myself for the majority of the day has pretty much cleared it up.

Also a band that i've been searching for, for the past 3 years finally popped back into my head.. and i'll share with you Now

The song Japanese gum by them is my Favorite. I listened to it for about 4 months straight. Can't even believe that I had ever forgotten the name of the band.

BASSS!

Miami Booty Bass is one of my favorite genre's of music. It's right behind Classical and indie dance rock.

I'm in love with drums and bass heavy songs.. and that's exactly what these are. PEEP GAME!

Vulgar lyrics are always great.. but it's mainly the drums of these songs that have me hooked.

Plus anything that encourages sweaty/grinding/ass shaking is ok in my book.
